A couple of months ago, I went to my first networking event. Many of the individuals who attended were CEOs, inventors and other important people. How did it go, you might ask? Let us just say that my nerves got the best of me… Since then I have been seeking to improve my communication skills. My father always speaks fondly of Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People. As I was looking for that book at the Chapters, I stumbled upon How to Talk to Anyone by Leil Lowndes. I skimmed through the pages and found it very interesting, and of course, here I am reading it. Anyways, thought I’d write a little blurb about this great book. Off to the airport I go!

Christmas Wish List, the materialistic edition! A new purse. Preferably a crossbody style in black or brown leather. I don’t have a specific brand in mind… The Harry Potter book set. I can’t believe I don’t own it. I am an embarrassment to Harry Potters fans… A trip to Jakarta, Indonesia. I haven’t gone back since 2007, and every Christmas, I always miss it A puppy! I’ve never owned one… but fat chance that the dearest mother would let me have one.

I like going to the bookstores. As much as possible, before I leave the mall, I should have visited at least one bookstore. I love checking new notebooks, pens, pencil cases… Argh. Whatta kiddie me.
