A couple of months ago, I went to my first networking event. Many of the individuals who attended were CEOs, inventors and other important people. How did it go, you might ask? Let us just say that my nerves got the best of me…
Since then I have been seeking to improve my communication skills. My father always speaks fondly of Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People. As I was looking for that book at the Chapters, I stumbled upon How to Talk to Anyone by Leil Lowndes. I skimmed through the pages and found it very interesting, and of course, here I am reading it.
Anyways, thought I’d write a little blurb about this great book. Off to the airport I go!

Currently reading: David Small’s Stitches.
I took an English course two semesters ago, where our required texts consisted of graphic memoirs and novels. Since then, I’ve been interested in reading other graphic novels. Stitches by David Small was highly recommended to me. Thank you dear sister for this Christmas present! I will provide a review once I finish reading it.
