A friend and I decided to head up to Hollyburn Ridge today. Considering it is my first time hiking in snow, I feel pretty proud of myself for getting to the top. The most vivid memory I have from today is when we reached the peak. There I was, huffing and puffing behind my friend, keeping my head down and pretty much staring at my feet when she tells me to turn around and look at the view. At that moment, I truly realized the meaning of “taking your breath away”.
We then had tea and scones at the top for a snack. How classy!
I love the fat bird. Makes me want to go hiking as well, just to look for it!
